My reflection I was learning to write an informal letter. It was easy because I had nice and clear instructions about how to write my letter. My next step is to write more formal or informal letters.

I did tinkarcard  doing a lesson and starters. It was very hard. A more challenging task ore lesson.

Summarising Information

 My reflection have been learning to find and summarise information by choosing the most important information. I found this interesting because I like reading new information that is interesting. I found summarising the information easy because I have done summarising before so it was very easy. My next step is to summarise more information so next time I do something like this activity.

My Reflection I was learning to describe some major events in New Zealand’s history that had an influence on the society. It was easy because I found this link that told me every single major event that New Zealand had. My next step is to know more about New Zealand.

                  My reflection I was learning to convert improper fractions to mixed number using my multiplication facts. It was easy because I looked at a video that explains how to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers . My next step is to convert bigger numbers.

Native Animal of New Zealand

My reflection I was learning to write about a New Zealand native animal in paragraphs. It was easy because I already knew lots about the animal that I wrote about. My next step is to write about a different native animal of New Zealand.

Summarising information

My reflection I have been learning to find out and summarise information by choosing the most important information. I found this interesting because I didn't know lots about who was on the hundred dollar bill. I found summarising easy because I did summarising before so I knew what to do. My next step is to find out more facts about Sir Ernest Rutherford to summarise so my work is more interesting.

I got two mysterious items to describe. One was a spider one was a secret message. I thought of amazing words to describe but I could only use eighteen words. I enjoyed it because I like doing describing.

I was learning to draw and colour my self in. Some parts were  easy but some parts were hard.  The drawing part was the hard part.  The colouring  part was the easy part.

I have been learning to understand decimal place value. I found this easy because I learnt decimals before. My next step is to dig deeper in decimal place value.

Summarising

Reflection
I am learning to summarise a text. It was tricky to write the sentences in my own words. I had to think carefully when I was doing this. My next learning step is to use what I learnt  about summarising and try to do this with other texts.
